Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job description
pawaTech is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a passion for teamwork and a collaborative spirit. As a part of our team, you will design and execute automated test cases for web applications and backend services, ensuring product quality and performance. This role also involves collaborating with development teams to identify potential issues early and contribute to creating scalable, reusable testing solutions that support the continuous delivery of our products.

What you’ll be doing:
• Creating and maintain automated test cases;
• Developing reusable testing functions and libraries;
• Running automated test suites regularly;
• Logfing and tracking defects in the system;
• Generating and sharing automation reports;
• Ensuring the test framework is accessible to the team;
• Collaborating with developers for test coverage;
• Improving test automation processes continuously.
What makes you a great candidate:
• Proficiency in MySQL;
• Strong expertise in Java programming;
• Familiarity with Selenium for automated testing;
• Experience in automating API tests, particularly with REST Assured;
• Competence in setting up and maintaining test environments;
• Demonstrated ability in designing, creating, and executing both manual and automated test cases;
• Skill in identifying and assessing risks associated with testing;
• Knowledge of Gradle and familiarity with jUnit5;
• Familiarity with generating Allure reports is considered a plus.
