qa.cafe was founded by experienced software engineers and QA engineers. Their hands-on work in software delivery shapes the platform's practical approach to quality engineering.
Learning a test framework is useful, but it is only one part of the work. Strong quality engineers also investigate risk, understand systems, communicate evidence, influence product decisions, and help teams build reliable feedback loops.
qa.cafe exists to present those skills as one connected craft, with learning and editorial content designed specifically for the people practicing it.
Who is behind qa.cafe
qa.cafe is shaped by people with practical experience across quality assurance, software engineering, technical leadership, hiring, and education.
The team includes QA engineers who have worked in manual testing and test automation. It also includes software engineers and people who have led technical teams and contributed at C-level.
Our experience includes defining roles, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, making hiring decisions, mentoring professionals, and teaching technical subjects.
No one discipline can explain quality on its own. This range of experience helps us connect testing techniques with engineering realities, team decisions, career expectations, and effective learning.
