Terms of service

1. Operator and contact

qa.cafe operates the service and supplies the course content, practice tools, and related learning features. Email contact@qa.cafe for a legal, account, product, or support question.

2. Accepting these terms

By using qa.cafe, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old. A higher minimum age applies when local law requires it.

3. Accounts

Regular users sign in with Google. Administrator access uses a separate login. You must provide accurate information and protect your account.

You are responsible for activity through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access. Do not share an account to bypass course access rules or impersonate another person.

4. Courses and paid plans

Publicly released courses are available without a course fee. Plus and Pro provide monthly AI request allowances, more capable AI models, and unlimited code executions. Early course access is not included.

The pricing page identifies the benefits, limits, and checkout availability. Monthly prices are $10 USD for Plus and $20 USD for Pro before applicable taxes.

5. Delivery and access

Learning features require a qa.cafe account. Paid benefits become available after payment confirmation for the account associated with checkout.

Use Plans and billing to cancel renewal. Paid access continues through the paid period. Pro to Plus downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Upgrading from Plus to Pro cancels Plus and opens checkout for a new $20 USD/month subscription before tax. Pro starts after successful payment, with a new billing period. Unused Plus time is not refunded or credited. If checkout is not completed, already-paid Plus access continues through its original end date. Failed renewals return the account to Free when paid time ends.

Plan changes do not refill usage allowances. Public course access, saved progress, and issued certificates remain available after a paid plan ends.

Payment does not permit account sharing, resale, or transfer. Contact contact@qa.cafe if a purchased benefit is unavailable.

6. Personal-use license

qa.cafe grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use course content for your own learning.

You must not reproduce, publish, sell, sublicense, scrape, or distribute course material except where applicable law permits it.

7. Learning content and practice tools

Courses, articles, resources, and practice tools provide educational guidance. They do not guarantee employment, examination results, professional recognition, or another specific outcome.

Browser practice environments are temporary and isolated. Do not use them to attack qa.cafe, another service, data, or person. Practice output can be lost when a runtime or page closes.

8. AI-assisted features and code execution

Free includes 100 lifetime AI requests. Plus includes 1,000 AI requests per UTC calendar month. Pro includes 2,500 AI requests per UTC calendar month. Unused monthly requests do not carry forward.

Free uses the Core AI model. Plus uses a smarter model. Pro uses the smartest available model. Model availability can change, and the pricing page identifies the current model tier for each plan.

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Review it before relying on it. Do not submit secrets, credentials, unlawful content, or personal information about another person.

The Free plan includes 200 code executions per UTC calendar month. Plus and Pro executions are unlimited. Each accepted Run action uses one execution, including a run that returns an error. A runtime reset does not use an execution.

Source, files, output, and exercise results stay in temporary runtime memory unless you choose to include current code in an AI assistant request. qa.cafe records only execution quota usage for an ordinary code run.

Usage allowances, model availability, and response limits can change. AI assistance does not replace your judgment or professional advice.

9. Certificates

A certificate records completion of the published course revision named on it. Public verification is the authoritative status.

qa.cafe can withhold or revoke a certificate obtained through fraud, automation abuse, account misuse, or a material system error. A certificate is not a professional license or employer endorsement.

10. Dodo Payments checkout

qa.cafe uses Dodo Payments as the Merchant of Record when paid checkout is available. The pricing page shows current purchase availability.

For paid purchases, Dodo Payments is the authorized reseller and legal seller for paid digital memberships. Dodo Payments will process payment, calculate and remit applicable transaction taxes, issue purchase documents, and manage payment disputes.

The checkout will show the price, billing period, currency, applicable taxes, renewal terms, and final amount before payment. It will also present the applicable Dodo Payments buyer terms and privacy information.

11. Refunds and withdrawal rights

The qa.cafe refund policy explains the current purchase status and how future refund terms will be published.

Mandatory consumer rights always apply. An approved refund can end the related member benefits.

12. Fraud, disputes, and payment reversals

qa.cafe or Dodo Payments can suspend member benefits while suspected fraud, refund abuse, or a payment reversal is investigated. Member benefits can end when a transaction is refunded, reversed, or found to be fraudulent.

This section does not limit a lawful right to dispute a charge or use a consumer remedy.

13. Your content

You keep ownership of content that you submit. You give qa.cafe the limited permission needed to store, process, and deliver that content through the requested feature.

You must have the right to submit the content. Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, confidential, malicious, or abusive material.

14. Prohibited use

• Do not gain or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not disrupt the service, evade limits, or probe systems without written authorization.
• Do not scrape, copy at scale, resell, or republish protected content.
• Do not impersonate another person or send spam.
• Do not upload malware or misuse practice and AI features.
• Do not use qa.cafe in violation of applicable law.

15. Availability and changes

The service is provided as available. qa.cafe does not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free content.

qa.cafe can update a course to correct errors, improve instruction, meet legal requirements, or maintain compatibility. A material reduction in paid member benefits remains subject to applicable consumer rights.

16. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. qa.cafe can restrict or end access for material breach, abuse, fraud, legal requirements, security risk, or service closure.

Terms that must continue by their nature survive termination. These include intellectual-property, payment, dispute, and liability terms.

17. Liability and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by law, qa.cafe is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from service use.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow qa.cafe to exclude or limit.

18. Changes and severability

qa.cafe can update these terms as the service or law changes. A new version or date will identify a material update.

If one term is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
